The grandson of land pioneer Hank Williams drops this recent take on a country classic today. Gay country singer Sam Williams teams up with Carter Faith for this duet covering Tammy Wynette’s “Til I Can Make it on My Own.” The song kicks off the year for Williams who will perform at the Grand Ole Opry on the Saturday following the single’s release. The third-generation country song star is currently working on his sophomore album which will come this year.

Last year, he made impressions by releasing the cover of his grandfather’s signature song  “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry” in September. In November, he declared his feelings with the single “I Despise the Holidays” just in time for season’s greetings. He begins the year with another classic.

Hank Williams Jr.'s son, country singer Sam Williams, has arrive out as male lover in the harmony video for his new song, "Tilted Crown," and a subsequent interview.

Williams' novel video loosely documents his growing up, and it shows him kissing his boyfriend on camera for the first time.

As People reports, Williams spoke to Hunter Kelly on Apple Music's Proud Radio With Hunter Kelly podcast, where he revealed that he had previously planned to address his sexuality in a video for another anthem that did not come to go by. The directors of his new video felt strongly that including the peck would help say the authentic story of his life.

"At first I caring of thought that, 'I'm tackling something else with this.' And I mind that maybe that's for another project," Williams states. "But again, I felt like I was promoting invisibility, fancy I wasn't organism visible and wasn't being myself. And I just reflection it was the perfect opportunity to just show who I was."

2025 is the year of gay country! Country music star Sam Williams is back with an all-new single and accompanying song video.

“No Problem” is the second track to drop from Williams’ upcoming project Act II: COUNTRYSTAR. The single is a melodic country song about the beauty of young, queer love. Williams tells his partner “I ain’t got a problem loving you.”
